the designer known as alexander mcqueen left a huge hole in the fashion industry when he committed suicide in february of this year. the industry came to a halt, with memorials being set up outside his stores and magazines making room for tribute articles. however, butter london has come up with an unusual tribute to the legend by creating a nail varnish colour devoted just to mcqueen himself- known as “all hail mcqueen”.

the shade is a grey that has hints of a dazzling shimmer running through it, and is part of the new 2010 butter london autumn/winter collection. this colour is the season’s must-have, and is available to purchase over at uniqueluxe.co.uk here!
as the site most admirably says: he may be gone, but his reign is far from over.
